Your Role: As an integral member of a four strong CAD team you will be working closely with the in-house structural engineers, occasionally accompanying them on site visits. There will be more emphasis on steel frame buildings, however the workload will be broad encompassing masonry and RC frames. You will produce two dimensional general arrangement drawings and also three dimensional models – training and close support to develop 3D / Revit skills will be provided – . There will be regular project and co-ordination meetings, more generally you will be part of a team where information flows freely and support is mutual.
Hybrid Working / Flexibility: You will have the option to be office based, or to work from home three to four days per week. You will be provided with all the necessary hardware, a company phone and dedicated IT support.

Employing in excess of 100 personnel who provide national coverage, this is a profitable, well managed business that is in the midst of carefully planned expansion, with a particular focus on their high performing civil & structural engineering division.
Your Profile: A CAD technician with at least three years AutoCAD experience. A background in consulting engineering with a focus on structures that must include structural steel. A willingness to learn, develop and to support colleagues when necessary. Good interpersonal skills are highly advantageous.
