Overview

This is an opportunity for an experienced building site manager or project manager to work for a major client organisation during a period of expansion and improvement. You will be delivering a range of multi-discipline building projects, taking responsibility for the preparation of project documentation through to the successful completion and handover of buildings including associated mechanical and electrical services. This client side position has a focus on overseeing the appointed contractor and ensuring compliance to standards, construction programmes and budge, through to successful handover.

A background in building construction or building services is preferred. This should include a record of delivering multidisciplinary works in a project management or site management capacity and an understanding of CDM regulations. The requirement to work with a range of stakeholders including contractors, consultants and in-house construction team means good communication skills are essential. You should have a track record of successfully delivering projects to the required quality standards, schedules and within budgets. Your academic background should include a construction or engineering degree.
