Overview

A structural engineering position offering change, prospects and excellent terms and conditions of employment. It would suit a senior building structures engineer looking for a move up and a more stimulating work environment. Your role will focus on creative and challenging projects whilst working alongside likeminded engineers. Support will come from a senior engineering director, he will provide invaluable guidance and impart his considerable knowledge. Their projects regularly attract attention and acclaim, including a recent Stirling prize. You will collaborate with leading architects, taking projects from client advisory stages through to completion, backed up by some of the industry’s most capable engineers.

Your Profile: A genuine passion for engineering and architecture is a must. You will need a 2:1 degree, or above in civil or structural engineering and be chartered, or nearing, with the ICE or IStructE, and have at least six years consulting engineering experience. This should have included work on steel and reinforced concrete structures with some responsibility for project delivery. Good lateral thinking skills are essential, as is the willingness to use new methods and materials. You would be joining a well managed business with low levels of staff turnover, to fit in you will need to be well organised, personable and have good teamworking skills.
