A leading privately owned consultant has a new opening for a intermediate level structural engineer to join their London design team. This is an opportunity to join a well run business providing a breadth of work including high-rise, retail, leisure, listed, urban re-regeneration, arts and educational projects. Reporting to an associate you will help to take responsibility for the delivery of projects and work packages. This will involve close collaboration with clients, conceptual design and the supervision and guidance of engineers and technicians. There will be frequent work on integrated multidisciplinary projects which will bring you in contact with your MEP and civil engineering colleagues. Their workload is national and international and many of their high profile schemes are in central London. You should be a degree qualified civil or structural engineer, be working towards chartered status with the IStructE or MICE and have a background in concrete and steel design. There is a structured programme of continued professional development, an ICE approved training scheme and support to prepare for IStructE part 3 exams.
