An opportunity for a structural engineer looking for a change of emphasis and career progression. The position is focused on highly rewarded and consistently in demand technical areas. Our client is widely respected and their London office, one of their newest, is expanding. They are able to provide advancement and technical development. In this role you will be applying your existing structural engineering skills to forensic investigations, structural design, structural fire engineering, façades and materials technology.

They employ civil, structural, materials, façade and architectural experts who work on projects in the UK and internationally.
Your Role: The position focuses on forensic investigations, assessment, new and retrofit structural fire design, materials selection (in conjunction with in-house materials experts) and project delivery. You will work alongside the manager of the London office who is their leading structural engineering expert in the UK. Your role will evolve as your expertise develops, with more focus on forensic investigations and more input on commercial and client facing activities.
Your Profile: A building structures engineer with a consulting engineering background. You should be either chartered, or approaching chartered status. You will need design and delivery experience that has included steel and concrete projects. Good lateral thinking and interpersonal skills are essential.
Career Progression: This is a successful, expanding business, their London office is set for continued growth, your progression to Associate will be part of their development plans. You should be ambitious and keen to take on this more senior role as soon as you are ready.
