Their London structures group has a reputation for working on projects for leading architects. You will work alongside the structural engineering director and closely with clients to deliver projects whilst providing guidance to engineers and technicians within your project team.
Company Profile: One of the UK’s largest and longest established independently owned civil and structural engineering consultancies. Building structures remains by far their biggest discipline, they also have a highly evolved technical capability within transportation, water & environmental and geotechnical engineering. Their work has garnered awards from the BCI, ICE and IStructE and their London office is home to their largest contingent of building structures engineers. Support and mentoring to achieve chartership with the IStructE and ICE is available, as is an on-going programme of CPD activities.
Project Workload: An emphasis on large scale commercial and residential schemes, plus a mix of education, healthcare and refurbishment work.
Profile Required: A chartered or incorporated civil or structural engineer (or approaching chartered status). Your technical background will have provided you with expertise of steel and concrete design. Furthermore, you should be an imaginative engineer capable of lateral thinking who can advise clients and staff how to achieve elegance and economy in their work.
