The opportunity would suit an engineer interested in developing advanced structural design software skills, in particular Revit and Tekla. You will work closely with the structural engineering director, a chartered structural engineer. He will provide support, plus the mentorship needed to work towards professional chartership or incorporation. As a key member of a small and friendly design team, your role will be the design and delivery of house extensions, loft conversions, basement and new build projects. Their workload, which is London wide, requires site visits around once or twice per week. A key aspect of the position will be to develop your engineering software skills, you will be fully supported in this.
About You: A structural engineer with at least four years’ experience, knowledge of steel concrete and masonry structures, qualified in civil or structural engineering to degree or HND level, a strong interest in gaining an advanced understanding of engineering software, good interpersonal skills, able to take advantage of learning and career advancement opportunities, a desire to contribute to the growth of an expanding business and to share the rewards of its success.
