This is an opportunity for a civil design engineer to work for their growing civil engineering division on major projects that will expand your roads, drainage and environmental engineering expertise. Training, development and staff well being are highly prioritised. You will be mentored and supported to achieve chartered status with the Institution of Civil Engineers whilst benefiting from an ongoing programme of lectures and workshops. Pioneering use of BIM integrates a diverse range of engineering disciplines and you will gain comprehensive insight into the whole design and construction process.
As a key member of a busy project team you will be working collectively on a major re-development project in London’s docklands, pharmaceutical, technology, airport and commercial schemes. There will also be the opportunity to take ownership of smaller projects as your ability and confidence grows. Mentoring and guidance will be provided by a one of their senior chartered civil engineers. Knowledge flows freely here and a supportive culture will accelerate your learning and development.
You will need to be a degree qualified civil engineer with some infrastructure design experience covering roads, drainage or flood risk/ defence. This should include an understanding of Auto CAD and design software such as WinDes, MicroDrainage or Civils 3D. There will be much interaction with other disciplines, especially architects and structural engineers, good team working and interpersonal skills are essential.
